E. Sahin Conkur was born in Kayseri in 15.07.1966. He received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gazi University, Turkey, in 1988. Between 1989 and 1993, he was a lecturer with Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey. He received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, Bristol, UK, in 1998. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Pamukkale University, Denizli, Turkey. He is married with two children.
